At King Pins in Trafford Centre, Manchester, we were commissioned to manufacture and install a mild steel balustrade for the staircase and the upper mezzanine area.

The project aimed to combine robust safety features with a stylish, modern design that complemented the venue's aesthetic.

The balustrade featured 50x70 box section legs and 30x30 horizontal solid square bars, providing a sturdy framework that met the specified loading requirements of 0.74kN/m and 1.5kN/m.

For the infill, we used 38mm open mesh panels edged with a U trim,

adding a decorative yet secure element.

A 48mm diameter mild steel handrail, powder coated with a clear finish, was installed to provide additional support and a sleek appearance.

The clear coating enhanced the balustrade's visual appeal and ensured durable protection against wear and tear, providing the client with a long-lasting and low-maintenance solution.
