The Leeds Tech Campus has seen a pivotal collaboration with McAleer & Rush over the past two years.

 

This successful partnership has been instrumental in designing, manufacturing, and installing critical architectural elements throughout the project.

 

Our scope of work has encompassed a range of high-quality solutions, including stainless grab rails, frameless glass and mild steel balustrades, and various other steelworks components.

Stainless Grab Rails and Balustrade

Installed throughout various parts of the campus, including both the exterior and interior staircases, these elements were meticulously designed for safety, ensuring the well-being of everyone on the campus while maintaining their aesthetic appeal.

The choice of stainless steel, with its unparalleled durability and sleek appearance, played a crucial role in this project.

Frameless Glass Balustrade

The frameless glass balustrade, a standout feature of the interior staircases and MGF atriums, is a testament to our commitment to safety and modern design. Complete with stainless steel flashings and 21.5mm laminated SGP interlayer glass, it not only enhances the open look and light of the area but also adds a touch of modernity to the campus.

Frameless Glass Balcony Balustrade

Positioned on various exterior levels of the campus building, these balustrades were manufactured to enhance the building's visual appeal while making the maintenance team's environment safer and more secure. The balcony glass is made from 25mm pyrogaurd glass fixed via our bespoke channel.

Interior Mild Steel Balustrade

The main feature staircase, installed across 19 levels of staircases, is manufactured from ral colour-matched powder-coated mild steel, complete with vertical round bar infill and top round top rail. We also manufactured and installed the accompanying wall rail.

Mild Steel Powder Coated Roof Terrace Plant Screen

Designed to conceal rooftop plant equipment, our bespoke plant screen was manufactured from Ali slot and groove panels, which were powder-coated to match the requested RAL colour.

Courtyard and Door Support Steelworks

Provided structural support and enhanced the courtyard's functionality and various campus doorways.

Stainless Steel Handrail and Rail Rails

Our bespoke stainless steel handrails and wall rails are featured internally and externally,

made from 316-grade stainless steel. Our stainless steel handrails and balustrade are just outside the central entrance doorway, with vertical round bar infill panels and a top rail.

Roof Terrace Frameless Glass Balustrade

This feature provides safety without compromising the panoramic views from the terrace, integrating smoothly with the overall design.
