The project comprised the design, supply, and installation of a comprehensive architectural metalwork package, delivering durable and compliant structural elements to support both access and maintenance requirements.
Key components of the works included:
External Staircase:
Design, fabrication, and installation of a mild steel external staircase, fully hot-dip galvanized to ensure long-term corrosion resistance. The staircase was complete with a key clamp balustrade system, providing a robust and compliant safety solution.
Plant Room Step Units (2 No.):
Supply and installation of two mild steel galvanized step units serving plant room access. Each unit was fitted with key clamp balustrading to maintain consistency in safety and design standards across the project.
CAT Ladders (2 No.):
Installation of two CAT ladders to facilitate safe and secure vertical access for maintenance purposes, designed in accordance with relevant safety regulations.
Walkway Link Corridor:
Structural steelwork and roof installation for the walkway link corridor connecting key areas of the building. The structure was subsequently cloaked and finished by others as part of a separate work package.
All elements were designed and executed to meet project specifications, relevant British Standards, and site safety requirements, ensuring both functionality and durability.
