LIAM KAY
Job Title: Managing Director

Day to day tasks:
I am responsible for the overall running of the business, to enable growth, stability, direction, and the daily operation of the business. I work closely with our Financial director on all monetary aspects of the business. I am the key point of contact for clients and suppliers. Attend meetings with new and existing clients.
Where needed I will make the final decisions within all departments in the business and I am on hand if any members of staff need advice or direction.
What skills do you have?
I am a good team manager with good leadership skills, I have effective communication with clients and staff, driven and hard working to ensure our business stays profitable and has continued growth.
Hobbies: Football, Music & Family Time
SOPHIE KAY
Job Title: Financial Director

Day to day tasks:
I work closely with our managing director and all the office team to support the day-to-day running of the company. I focus a lot of my time on planning and managing the budgets for each of our projects, alongside managing our in-house budgets and costs, as well as leading our accounts, estimating, sales and marketing team. I work closely with many of our customers across their projects from quote to completion.
What skills do you have?
Even though I’m new to the construction industry I bring 20 years of sales experience, 15 of those years in a managerial or training role. Whilst I’ve had to learn quickly and my role has evolved a lot in the past 3 years, my previous experience has given me a great foundation for success in a new industry.
Hobbies:
Socialising, Holidays and a Secret lover of gardening
Richard Parker
Job Title: Contracts Manager

Day to day tasks:
My tasks will involve taking control of each contract from start to finish making sure that our client's requirements are achieved including design, manufacture, on-time installation, and quality.
What skills do you have?
I have been involved in Contract Managing in the facades sector for over 25 years and the architectural steelwork sector for over 10 years where I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in the construction industry. Also, over the years this has given me good communication and man management skills.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I like to watch both football and boxing and play a few rounds of golf.
I am an England amateur boxing coach at the Ingle Boxing Academy where I train up to 25 amateur boxers.
I also enjoy socialising with family and friends.
CHRIS TOMLINSON
Job Title: Technical Manager

Day to day tasks:
Managing workflow within technical, liaising with clients and engineers, producing 3D models, approval & fabrication drawings and undertaking site surveys
What skills do you have?
In my 10 years of experience within the construction industry, I have worked in various roles from estimating and project management to site installation, this has given me a broad understanding of the industry and I feel that this knowledge helps when overcoming any design issues that arise as our projects progress
Hobbies:
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, working on my classic VW and I am also a member of a field target shooting club and shoot competitively.
MAX KNIGHT
Job Title: Cad Technician

Day to day tasks:
On a typical working day, I am either producing 3D models and fabrication drawings or on site surveying our latest projects.
Hobbies:
After work I am usually attending the gym. On the weekends, I am either at Bramall Lane watching Sheffield United, watching the F1 or at the pub.
Mark Bounds
Job Title: Senior Estimator

Day to day tasks:
Reviewing customer enquiries, doing take-offs from drawings received, writing up quotations and negotiating the sale. Following up with customers for updates on quotations and where we stand against our competition regarding prices. Business development with contacting new customers and offering services.
What skills do you have?
Having had a varied career spanning Customer Services, IT Support & Programming, ISO 9001 Auditing & Health & Safety, I have worked within the construction industry as a sales estimator for the past 20 years.
Hobbies:
Shotokan Karate & Medieval Re-enactment (Between years of 793AD to 1066AD)
Thomas Badkin
Job Title: Graphic Designer - Sales & Marketing

Day to day tasks:
Day to day you will find me designing away in the office while coming up with new and exciting marketing and social media ideas for K-Fix Systems Ltd.
What skills do you have?
I have worked within the design, sales, and marketing world for the past 15 years, covering all aspects from print and digital to film and animation. I have also gained over 6 years of construction industry experience both in the office and manufacturing.
Hobbies:
Bodybuilding, Love going on adventures with my partner and son, modifying cars and watching films.
Tom Johnson
Job Title: CAD Technician

Day-to-day tasks:
My general tasks include producing technical drawings for client comment / structural calculations and manufacture.
I liaise with the client, engineer, and architect to aid and assist throughout the design process.
I also carry out site visits for surveys as required.
What skills do you have?
I have worked within the manufacturing industry, specifically architectural metalwork, for over 21 years.
Over this period, I have gained knowledge and skills in many aspects of the industry.
Hobbies:
In my spare time, I can mostly be found outside walking/hiking with my dogs in the peak district.
I enjoy climbing, both indoors and outdoors.
I also enjoy socialising with friends and watching films.
BRENDAN LARGE
Job Title: Site Supervisor - RWC

II oversee all welding for the company ensuring procedures are being followed and carry out
testing where required and overseeing any NDT
What skills do you have?
I have gained over 10 years of experience as a welder/steel fabricator where I have been lucky enough to be apart of numerous high quality projects giving me the technical knowledge, but also seeing how things are carried out from the ground, up. Being able to gain this experience has helped me progress in my career to achieve the position I am in now. This assists in the day to day tasks as a but also helps me have a good knowledge to support my relationship with the operatives out on site.
Hobbies:
Guitar, Music, Tinkering and modifying cars, playing snooker.
